Nobody can predict Sui's price in 2030, but market-cap maths gives a sensible range. On our assumptions SUI could be worth roughly ₹32 to ₹64 in a bear case, ₹161 to ₹289 in a base case and ₹562 to ₹963 in a bull case, against about ₹110 on 1 October 2026. These are scenarios, not predictions. ₹1,000 per SUI would need Sui to be worth about $62 billion by 2030, just above the top of our bull case. The live SUI price in INR is ₹109.82 right now.

Key takeaways

  • On 1 October 2026 SUI was about $1.14 (₹110), with a market cap near $4.65 billion, ranked 28th.
  • Its all-time high was $5.35 on 6 January 2025, about ₹460 at the time. SUI is about 79% below that peak.
  • Only about 41% of the 10 billion maximum supply is circulating. We assume about 6 billion SUI by the end of 2030, so Sui's value has to grow just for the price to stand still.
  • Our 2030 range runs from a $2 billion to a $60 billion market cap.
  • ₹1,000 per SUI needs about $42.5 billion today or $62 billion with 2030's supply. Gains are taxed at 30% plus cess in India, with 1% TDS and no loss set-off.

Where Sui stands in October 2026

Sui is a proof-of-stake blockchain built by Mysten Labs, a company founded by engineers who worked on Meta's Diem project. Its main network went live on 3 May 2023. Sui uses the Move programming language and treats each asset as a separate object, so transactions that do not touch the same objects can be processed in parallel. That keeps fees low and confirmations fast. The network hosts decentralised exchanges, lending apps, games and stablecoins, and SUI pays for transactions and is staked to secure the chain.

SUI had a strong September 2026, up about 55% in 30 days and about 15% in the past week, but it remains far below its January 2025 peak. For charts and more data, see our SUI coin page.

SUI supply: the 10 billion cap and the unlock schedule

All 10 billion SUI were created at launch, and no more can be made. They are released into circulation over time. The Sui Foundation set out the split like this:

AllocationShareSUI
Community reserve (grants, delegation and validator subsidies, ecosystem programmes)50%5 billion
Early contributors20%2 billion
Investors14%1.4 billion
Mysten Labs treasury10%1 billion
Community access programme and app testers6%0.6 billion

About 4.1 billion SUI, roughly 41% of the total, was circulating on 1 October 2026. Tokens still unlock every month: the 1 October 2026 tranche was about 13.3 million SUI, split between early contributors, the community reserve and Mysten Labs, as we reported in our October unlock report. Staking subsidies add more. They started at about 1.1 million SUI a day in 2023 and fall by 10% every 90 days. Sui's own description of its emission schedule has supply rising through 2030, up to the 10 billion limit. How fast the Sui Foundation releases the rest of the community reserve is the biggest unknown.

We assume about 6 billion SUI in circulation at the end of 2030, about 46% more than today. That is a deliberately cautious figure. If all 10 billion SUI were circulating, every price in this guide would need a market cap about 67% higher; if only 5 billion were, the same market cap would mean prices about 20% higher. Our guide to token unlocks and vesting explains why this matters.

How we build the 2030 scenarios

We use the same method as our Bitcoin price prediction 2030 in INR and Solana price prediction 2030 in INR: choose a plausible total value for the network, divide it by the expected supply, and convert to rupees. Three assumptions matter:

  1. Supply: about 6 billion SUI at the end of 2030, rising from 4.1 billion as monthly unlocks, staking subsidies and community reserve releases continue.
  2. Exchange rate: ₹96.33 to the dollar, the rate on 1 October 2026. The effect of a weaker rupee is shown separately below.
  3. Market cap: this is the real guess. Each scenario says what would have to happen for Sui to be worth that much.

Worked example: a $14 billion market cap divided by 6 billion SUI gives about $2.33 per SUI, or about ₹225 at ₹96.33 to the dollar. Change the market cap and the price moves in step; add supply and it moves the other way.

Sui price prediction 2026 to 2030 in INR

This table shows one path for each scenario, year by year. Each cell gives the SUI price in rupees and, in brackets, the market cap that price implies. The figures are end-of-year scenarios from market-cap maths, not forecasts.

Year endSUI supply (assumed)Bear caseBase caseBull case
20264.15 billion₹81 ($3.5B)₹116 ($5B)₹151 ($6.5B)
20274.6 billion₹52 ($2.5B)₹147 ($7B)₹293 ($14B)
20285.1 billion₹47 ($2.5B)₹179 ($9.5B)₹472 ($25B)
20295.55 billion₹52 ($3B)₹208 ($12B)₹660 ($38B)
20306 billion₹48 ($3B)₹225 ($14B)₹771 ($48B)

Look at the bear path in 2029 and 2030: the market cap stays at $3 billion, yet the price slips from ₹52 to ₹48 because more coins share the same value. That is the unlock effect in one line. The base path roughly triples Sui's value by 2030, but the price only about doubles. The bull path takes SUI past its old peak, in rupee terms, during 2028.

Sui price prediction 2030: three scenarios

ScenarioMarket cap in 2030SUI price (USD)SUI price (INR at ₹96.33)
Bear$2 to $4 billion~$0.33 to $0.67~₹32 to ₹64
Base$10 to $18 billion~$1.67 to $3.00~₹161 to ₹289
Bull$35 to $60 billion~$5.83 to $10.00~₹562 to ₹963
  • Bear case: outages and competition push developers and traders to other chains, unlocks keep adding coins, and Sui ends the decade worth less than it is today.
  • Base case: Sui stays one of the main fast chains for trading, payments and games, fund demand builds slowly, and its value grows two to four times. The price rises less than that because supply grows by around half.
  • Bull case: Sui becomes a leading chain for stablecoin payments and consumer apps, worth $35 billion to $60 billion, a little below Solana's value today.

Can Sui reach ₹1,000? The market-cap maths

Market cap = price × circulating supply. Using about 4.1 billion SUI and ₹96.33 to the dollar on 1 October 2026:

SUI price (INR)Rise needed from ~₹110Implied market cap (INR)Implied market cap (USD)For comparison
₹250~2.3x~₹1 lakh crore~$10.6 billionAbout Chainlink today
₹500~4.6x~₹2 lakh crore~$21.3 billionNear its January 2025 peak price
₹1,000~9.1x~₹4.1 lakh crore~$42.5 billionMore than TRON today ($31.6 billion)
₹2,000~18x~₹8.2 lakh crore~$85 billionMore than Solana, close to XRP today
₹5,000~46x~₹20.5 lakh crore~$213 billionAbout two-thirds of Ethereum today

₹1,000 per SUI is about $10.38, nearly twice the 2025 peak. With 6 billion SUI in 2030 it would need a market cap of about $62 billion, just above the top of our bull case, and with all 10 billion SUI about $104 billion, more than BNB is worth today. So ₹1,000 needs both a strong market and Sui becoming one of the ten largest crypto networks. It is not impossible, but it is the edge of the realistic range.

₹500, roughly a return to the 2025 peak, is more reachable. It needs about $31 billion with 2030's supply, between our base and bull cases. Anything above ₹2,000 would need Sui to be worth more than Solana or XRP are today, which is out of reach on any realistic view.

The rupee effect

SUI is priced in dollars worldwide, so a weaker rupee raises its rupee price even if nothing else changes. If the rupee slid to about ₹105 to the dollar by 2030, every rupee figure here would be about 9% higher: the base case would become roughly ₹175 to ₹315 instead of ₹161 to ₹289. This is an illustration, not a currency forecast; check today's rate on our USD to INR page.

What would push SUI up or down

  • Reliability: Sui stopped producing blocks on 21 November 2024 (fixed in about two and a half hours), for nearly six hours on 14 January 2026, and on two days in a row in late May 2026 after a software release. Long stretches without outages would build trust with payment firms; more halts would hurt.
  • Unlocks: how quickly the community reserve is released decides how much new supply meets the market each year.
  • Fund demand: Canary Capital and Grayscale launched the first US spot SUI ETFs on 18 February 2026, both able to stake, and 21Shares followed on 24 February. Inflows would support the base and bull cases.
  • DeFi safety: on 22 May 2025 a bug in Cetus, Sui's largest decentralised exchange, let an attacker take about $223 million. Validators froze about $162 million and an on-chain vote approved returning it. That limited the damage but raised questions about how much a group of validators can do.
  • Competition: Solana, Avalanche and Aptos, which also uses Move, chase the same users. Compare them in Solana vs Sui and Avalanche vs Sui.

What ₹10,000 in SUI could become

At about ₹110 per SUI on 1 October 2026, ₹10,000 buys roughly 91 SUI before fees. Here is what that holding would be worth at the 2030 figures above, leaving out staking rewards:

2030 scenarioValue rangePoint value (market cap)Tax on gain (31.2%)Left after tax
Bear₹2,924 to ₹5,848~₹4,386 ($3B)None (loss of ₹5,614)₹4,386
Base₹14,620 to ₹26,316~₹20,468 ($14B)₹3,266₹17,202
Bull₹51,170 to ₹87,719~₹70,175 ($48B)₹18,775₹51,401

Notice the base case: Sui's market cap triples, yet your ₹10,000 only about doubles before tax, because unlocks spread the value over more coins. Tax here is 30% plus 4% cess on the gain, and the bear-case loss cannot be set off against any other income. Staking rewards are taxed when you receive them; see crypto staking and tax. Try your own amounts in the Sui investment calculator.

Risks to weigh before buying

  • Unlock overhang: close to 60% of all SUI has not yet reached the market. Each release adds coins that can be sold.
  • Outages: four halts in under two years is a poor record for a chain that wants to handle payments.
  • Validator power: the Cetus freeze showed validators can act together to block addresses. That helped victims, but it also shows the network is less resistant to censorship than some rivals.
  • A young network: Sui has only traded since 2023 and has already fallen about 79% from its peak. Its long-term place is unproven.
  • Rupee and tax: a stronger rupee would cut rupee returns, and the 30% tax with no loss set-off means you keep less of any gain.

Buying SUI and tax in India

SUI is listed on several exchanges that serve India, against INR or USDT; search "SUI" in your app before you deposit money. Our guide on how to buy Sui in India covers the steps. Crypto is legal in India but not legal tender, and exchanges serving Indians must register with FIU-IND; check the FIU-registered exchanges list first.

When you sell, gains are taxed at a flat 30% plus 4% cess under the rules introduced as Section 115BBH, with no deduction except what you paid. 1% TDS applies to sales above ₹50,000 a year for specified persons (₹10,000 for others) and counts towards your final tax. Losses cannot be set off against other income or carried forward, and trades go in Schedule VDA of your ITR. Our crypto tax in India guide and crypto tax calculator cover the details.

FAQ

What will be the price of Sui in 2030 in INR?

Our scenarios range from about ₹32 in a bear case to ₹963 in a bull case, with a base case of ₹161 to ₹289. They assume about 6 billion SUI and ₹96.33 to the dollar, and are market-cap scenarios, not forecasts.

What is the SUI coin price prediction for 2026 to 2030?

On our base path SUI would be about ₹116 at the end of 2026, ₹147 in 2027, ₹179 in 2028, ₹208 in 2029 and ₹225 in 2030. The bear and bull paths are in the year-by-year table above.

Can SUI reach ₹1,000?

Only at the very top of a bull market. ₹1,000 per SUI means about $42.5 billion today or $62 billion with 2030's supply, roughly nine to thirteen times Sui's value on 1 October 2026.

Can SUI get back to its all-time high?

SUI peaked at $5.35 on 6 January 2025, about ₹460 at the time. With about 6 billion SUI in 2030, that price would need a market cap of about $32 billion, between our base and bull cases.

How many SUI coins will there ever be?

10 billion, and all of them already exist. About 4.1 billion were circulating on 1 October 2026; the rest is released over time through monthly unlocks, staking subsidies and the community reserve.

Do SUI unlocks affect the price?

They add coins that holders can sell, so the network's value has to grow just to keep the price level. Monthly tranches continue, such as about 13.3 million SUI on 1 October 2026.
