Litecoin Price Prediction 2030 in INR: Can LTC Hit ₹25,000?
LTC 2030 scenarios in rupees: about ₹3,560 to ₹37,950 from market-cap maths, with a 2026 to 2030 table, the 2027 halving and what ₹10,000 becomes.
Nobody can predict Litecoin's price in 2030, but market-cap maths gives a sensible range. On our assumptions LTC could be worth roughly ₹3,560 to ₹5,930 in a bear case, ₹9,490 to ₹16,600 in a base case and ₹26,090 to ₹37,950 in a bull case, against about ₹6,400 on 1 October 2026. These are scenarios, not predictions. ₹25,000 per LTC would need Litecoin to be worth about $20 billion, roughly four times its value today and about three-quarters of its 2021 peak. The live Litecoin price in INR is ₹6,439 right now.
Key takeaways
- On 1 October 2026 LTC was about $66.65 (₹6,402), with a market cap near $5.2 billion, ranked 24th.
- Its all-time high was about $413 on 10 May 2021, roughly ₹30,000 at the time. LTC is about 84% below that peak.
- Supply is capped at 84 million LTC and about 77.7 million already exist; the next halving, expected around late July 2027, cuts new supply in half.
- ₹10,000 per LTC needs about $8 billion; ₹25,000 needs about $20 billion; ₹1 lakh needs about $81 billion.
- Gains are taxed at 30% plus cess in India, with 1% TDS and no loss set-off.
Where Litecoin stands in October 2026
Litecoin was launched in October 2011 by Charlie Lee as a lighter, faster version of Bitcoin. It uses the same basic design, with a new block about every 2.5 minutes instead of every 10, and a supply cap four times larger. It is mined with the Scrypt algorithm, and most Litecoin miners also mine Dogecoin at the same time through merged mining, which adds to the security of both networks. In May 2022 Litecoin added MWEB, an optional privacy layer that lets users hide transaction amounts.
| Measure | Value |
|---|---|
| LTC price (1 October 2026) | ₹6,402 (about $66.65) |
| Market cap | About $5.2 billion (about ₹49,700 crore) |
| Supply in circulation | About 77.66 million LTC |
| Maximum supply | 84 million LTC, fixed |
| Rank | 24th by market cap |
| All-time high | About $413 on 10 May 2021 |
| Change over 30 days | Up about 36% |
September 2026 was one of Litecoin's better months: it rose about 36% while Bitcoin gained much less, helped by a burst of network activity that we covered in Litecoin jumps 8% to its highest since January. Even so, LTC trades far below its 2021 record, when Litecoin was worth about $28 billion. For charts and more data, see our LTC coin page.
LTC supply: the 84 million cap and halvings
Like Bitcoin, Litecoin has a fixed issuance schedule. Miners currently receive 6.25 new LTC per block, and with about 576 blocks a day that adds roughly 3,600 LTC a day, or about 1.3 million a year. Every 840,000 blocks, about four years, that reward halves. The last halving was on 2 August 2023. The next is due at block 3,360,000, expected around late July 2027, when the reward falls to 3.125 LTC and daily issuance to about 1,800 LTC. Bitcoin's version of the same event is explained in our Bitcoin halving guide.
About 92% of all the Litecoin that will ever exist is already in circulation, so supply grows slowly from here. On the schedule above there will be about 78.75 million LTC at the 2027 halving and about 81 million by the end of 2030. That is the supply we use for 2030.
How we build the 2030 scenarios
We use the same method as our Bitcoin price prediction 2030 in INR and Ethereum price prediction 2030 in INR: choose a plausible total value for the network, divide it by the expected supply, and convert to rupees. Three assumptions matter:
- Supply: about 81 million LTC at the end of 2030, from the fixed mining schedule. This is the one input we can be fairly sure of.
- Exchange rate: ₹96.06 to the dollar, the rate on 1 October 2026. The effect of a weaker rupee is shown separately below.
- Market cap: this is the real guess. Each scenario says what would have to happen for Litecoin to be worth that much.
Worked example: an $11 billion market cap divided by 81 million LTC gives about $136 per LTC, or about ₹13,050 at ₹96.06 to the dollar.
Litecoin price prediction 2026 to 2030 in INR
This table shows one path for each scenario, year by year. Each cell gives the LTC price in rupees and, in brackets, the market cap that price implies. The figures are end-of-year scenarios from market-cap maths, not forecasts.
| Year end | LTC supply | Bear case | Base case | Bull case |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | 78.0 million | ₹5,170 ($4.2B) | ₹6,770 ($5.5B) | ₹8,620 ($7B) |
| 2027 | 79.0 million | ₹3,650 ($3B) | ₹8,510 ($7B) | ₹14,590 ($12B) |
| 2028 | 79.7 million | ₹4,220 ($3.5B) | ₹10,240 ($8.5B) | ₹21,690 ($18B) |
| 2029 | 80.3 million | ₹4,550 ($3.8B) | ₹11,960 ($10B) | ₹27,510 ($23B) |
| 2030 | 81.0 million | ₹4,740 ($4B) | ₹13,050 ($11B) | ₹32,020 ($27B) |
The bear path falls in 2027, the halving year, because the event has not protected Litecoin's price before: around the 2019 and 2023 halvings LTC rose in the months beforehand and fell afterwards. The base path roughly doubles Litecoin's value by 2030 and crosses ₹10,000 in 2028. The bull path returns Litecoin to about its 2021 peak value.
Litecoin price prediction 2030: three scenarios
| Scenario | Market cap in 2030 | LTC price (USD) | LTC price (INR at ₹96.06) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | $3 to $5 billion | ~$37 to $62 | ~₹3,560 to ₹5,930 |
| Base | $8 to $14 billion | ~$99 to $173 | ~₹9,490 to ₹16,600 |
| Bull | $22 to $32 billion | ~$272 to $395 | ~₹26,090 to ₹37,950 |
- Bear case: stablecoins and faster networks take over the payment role Litecoin was built for, interest keeps shifting to newer coins, and LTC slips further down the rankings.
- Base case: Litecoin keeps its place as a simple, long-running payment coin, the 2027 halving tightens supply, and LTC rises with the wider market to between one and a half and three times today's value.
- Bull case: a strong cycle, steady buying through US funds and renewed interest in older proof-of-work coins take Litecoin back to or slightly above its 2021 peak value.
Can Litecoin reach ₹25,000 or ₹1 lakh? The market-cap maths
Market cap = price × circulating supply. Using about 77.66 million LTC and ₹96.06 to the dollar on 1 October 2026:
| LTC price (INR) | Rise needed from ~₹6,400 | Implied market cap (INR) | Implied market cap (USD) | For comparison |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₹10,000 | ~1.6x | ~₹77,700 crore | ~$8.1 billion | About Stellar's value today |
| ₹25,000 | ~3.9x | ~₹1.94 lakh crore | ~$20.2 billion | More than Dogecoin today |
| ₹40,000 | ~6.2x | ~₹3.1 lakh crore | ~$32.3 billion | Its 2021 dollar high at today's rupee rate |
| ₹50,000 | ~7.8x | ~₹3.9 lakh crore | ~$40.4 billion | Well above its 2021 peak value |
| ₹1 lakh | ~15.6x | ~₹7.8 lakh crore | ~$80.8 billion | More than Solana today |
₹25,000 per LTC is about $260. With 81 million coins in 2030 it needs a market cap of about $21 billion, just under our bull range and about three-quarters of what Litecoin was worth at its 2021 peak. Possible in a strong cycle, but not the central case.
₹10,000 is much closer: about $8 billion today, or $8.4 billion in 2030, at the bottom of our base range. ₹1 lakh is a different matter. It needs about $81 billion, nearly three times Litecoin's best-ever value and more than Solana was worth on 1 October 2026. None of our scenarios gets there.
Note the rupee's part in the ₹40,000 row. Litecoin's 2021 high of about $413 was roughly ₹30,000 at the time, but the same dollar price would be about ₹39,700 today because the rupee has weakened since.
The rupee effect
LTC is priced in dollars worldwide, so a weaker rupee raises its rupee price even if nothing else changes. If the rupee slid to about ₹105 to the dollar by 2030, every rupee figure here would be about 9% higher: the base case would become roughly ₹10,370 to ₹18,150 instead of ₹9,490 to ₹16,600. This is an illustration, not a currency forecast; check today's rate on our USD to INR page.
What would push LTC up or down
- The 2027 halving: new supply halves to about 1,800 LTC a day. Less selling by miners can help, but past halvings show the price effect is uncertain and often comes early.
- US fund demand: the first US spot Litecoin ETF began trading on Nasdaq on 28 October 2025. It has drawn only modest money so far; larger inflows would support the bull case.
- Payments and privacy: cheap, quick transfers keep Litecoin in use for payments. MWEB adds privacy, but privacy tools make some regulators wary: in June 2022 five major South Korean exchanges delisted LTC, citing rules against anonymous transactions.
- Bitcoin and the wider market: LTC usually follows Bitcoin. Track it on our Bitcoin price in INR page, and see the two side by side in Bitcoin vs Litecoin.
- Mining security: merged mining with Dogecoin keeps hashing power high, which matters for a coin whose main selling point is reliability.
What ₹10,000 in LTC could become
At about ₹6,402 per LTC on 1 October 2026, ₹10,000 buys roughly 1.56 LTC before fees. Here is what that holding would be worth at the 2030 figures above:
| 2030 scenario | Value range | Point value (market cap) | Tax on gain (31.2%) | Left after tax |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | ₹5,557 to ₹9,262 | ~₹7,409 ($4B) | None (loss of ₹2,591) | ₹7,409 |
| Base | ₹14,819 to ₹25,932 | ~₹20,375 ($11B) | ₹3,237 | ₹17,138 |
| Bull | ₹40,751 to ₹59,274 | ~₹50,013 ($27B) | ₹12,484 | ₹37,529 |
Tax here is 30% plus 4% cess on the gain. The bear-case loss cannot be set off against salary, other crypto gains or any other income. Try your own amounts in the Litecoin investment calculator.
Risks to weigh before buying
- Fading relevance: Litecoin was among the five largest coins for much of its early life. On 1 October 2026 it ranked 24th, and newer projects keep arriving.
- Long drawdowns: LTC has spent more than five years below its May 2021 high and is still about 84% under it.
- Sharp swings: a 36% monthly rise, as in September 2026, can reverse just as quickly. Size any position so a halving of its value would not hurt you.
- Rupee and tax: a stronger rupee would cut rupee returns, and the 30% tax with no loss set-off means you keep less of any gain than the headline figure suggests.
