Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2030 in INR: BCH to ₹1 Lakh?
BCH 2030 scenarios in rupees: about ₹11,700 to ₹1.4 lakh from market-cap maths, a 2026 to 2030 table, the 21 million cap and the 2028 halving.
Nobody can predict Bitcoin Cash's price in 2030, but market-cap maths gives a sensible range. On our assumptions BCH could be worth roughly ₹11,700 to ₹23,400 in a bear case, ₹37,500 to ₹65,600 in a base case and ₹93,700 to ₹1.4 lakh in a bull case, against about ₹30,319 per BCH at 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026. These are scenarios, not predictions. ₹1 lakh per BCH would need Bitcoin Cash to be worth about $21 billion in 2030, which only our bull case reaches. The live Bitcoin Cash price in INR is ₹29,487 right now.
Key takeaways
- At 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026 BCH was about $314.60 (₹30,319), with a market cap near $6.3 billion on about 20.1 million BCH.
- Its all-time high was about $3,800 on 20 December 2017. BCH is still more than 90% below that peak.
- Like Bitcoin, BCH is capped at 21 million coins and halves its block reward every 210,000 blocks. It last halved in April 2024; the next halving is due around April 2028.
- Supply is almost fixed: we assume about 20.57 million BCH at the end of 2030, only about 2% more than today.
- Our 2030 range runs from a $2.5 billion to a $30 billion market cap. Gains are taxed at 30% plus cess in India, with 1% TDS and no loss set-off.
Where Bitcoin Cash stands in October 2026
Bitcoin Cash split from Bitcoin in a hard fork on 1 August 2017, after a long fight over how to scale. Its supporters wanted bigger blocks so that ordinary payments stay cheap on the main chain. BCH keeps Bitcoin's basic design: proof-of-work mining with the same SHA-256 algorithm, a 21 million cap and the same halving schedule. Fees are tiny: the typical transaction in the 24 hours to 3 October 2026 paid well under one US cent.
| Measure | Value |
|---|---|
| BCH price (15:52 UTC, 3 October 2026) | ₹30,318.81 (about $314.60) |
| Market cap | About $6.3 billion (about ₹60,900 crore) |
| Circulating supply | About 20.1 million BCH, about 95.7% of the cap |
| Maximum supply | 21 million BCH |
| Block reward | 3.125 BCH since April 2024 |
| All-time high | About $3,800 on 20 December 2017 |
| 2026 so far | High near $669 in January; up about 24% in September |
Price feeds differ on the exact 2017 peak: some show about $3,786, others a brief spike above $4,300 on the same day. Either way BCH is far below it. BCH also trades well below its own January 2026 high. For charts, see our BCH coin page, and for the bigger picture, our Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash comparison.
The 21 million cap and halving timing
New BCH enters circulation only as a reward to miners, and that reward halves every 210,000 blocks, roughly every four years. The last halving came at block 840,000, mined late on 3 April 2024 (UTC), early on 4 April in India. It cut the reward from 6.25 BCH to 3.125 BCH per block.
The next halving is at block 1,050,000. On 3 October 2026 the chain was at about block 971,300, so about 78,700 blocks remain. At the target pace of one block every ten minutes, that points to around April 2028, when the reward will fall to 1.5625 BCH. The exact date depends on how fast blocks are found.
| Halving | Block | Reward after | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Third | 630,000 | 6.25 BCH | 8 April 2020 |
| Fourth | 840,000 | 3.125 BCH | 3 April 2024 (UTC) |
| Fifth | 1,050,000 | 1.5625 BCH | Expected around April 2028 |
Today about 450 BCH are mined a day, roughly 0.8% of supply a year, and that drops to about 0.4% after 2028. Putting this together, we assume about 20.57 million BCH at the end of 2030. Halvings make the supply side predictable, but they do not create demand on their own. Our guide to the Bitcoin halving and the 2028 date explains the same mechanism for BTC.
What else drives BCH
- Yearly upgrades: Bitcoin Cash now upgrades once a year, in May. The upgrade of 15 May 2026 added bounded loops, reusable functions, pay-to-script and restored bitwise operations, making BCH's scripting far more capable for apps such as tokens and decentralised finance.
- Fund demand: on 11 September 2026 Grayscale filed an amended registration to turn its Bitcoin Cash Trust (BCHG) into an ETF listed on NYSE Arca. The filing says it will not take effect until the needed approvals are in place, so check its status before counting on it.
- Payments use: cheap, fast payments are BCH's main pitch, but stablecoins on other networks now compete strongly for the same job.
- Bitcoin's direction: BCH usually follows Bitcoin and tends to fall further in downturns. Track the leader on our Bitcoin price in INR page.
How we build the 2030 scenarios
We use the same method as our Bitcoin price prediction 2030 in INR and Litecoin price prediction 2030 in INR: choose a plausible total value for the network, divide it by the expected supply, and convert to rupees.
- Supply: about 20.57 million BCH at the end of 2030, up from about 20.1 million.
- Exchange rate: ₹96.37 to the dollar, the rate at 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026.
- Market cap: the real guess. Each scenario says what would have to happen for Bitcoin Cash to be worth that much.
Worked example: an $11 billion market cap divided by 20.57 million BCH gives about $535 per BCH, or about ₹51,536 at ₹96.37 to the dollar.
Bitcoin Cash price prediction 2026 to 2030 in INR
Each cell gives the BCH price in rupees at the end of the year and, in brackets, the market cap that price implies. These are scenario paths, not forecasts.
| Year end | BCH supply (assumed) | Bear case | Base case | Bull case |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | 20.14 million | ₹23,929 ($5B) | ₹31,108 ($6.5B) | ₹38,287 ($8B) |
| 2027 | 20.30 million | ₹14,242 ($3B) | ₹35,606 ($7.5B) | ₹56,969 ($12B) |
| 2028 | 20.41 million | ₹16,526 ($3.5B) | ₹42,496 ($9B) | ₹84,993 ($18B) |
| 2029 | 20.49 million | ₹18,814 ($4B) | ₹47,034 ($10B) | ₹1,03,475 ($22B) |
| 2030 | 20.57 million | ₹18,740 ($4B) | ₹51,536 ($11B) | ₹1,21,813 ($26B) |
The bear path falls in 2027 because crypto has often had a weak year after a strong run, as in 2018 and 2022. Because BCH's supply barely grows, its price tracks its market cap closely: the base path almost doubles the value and almost doubles the price by 2030. The bull path makes BCH worth about $26 billion, still under 2% of Bitcoin's value today, and passes ₹1 lakh per BCH during 2029.
Bitcoin Cash price prediction 2030: three scenarios
| Scenario | Market cap in 2030 | BCH price (USD) | BCH price (INR at ₹96.37) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | $2.5 to $5 billion | ~$122 to $243 | ~₹11,700 to ₹23,400 |
| Base | $8 to $14 billion | ~$389 to $681 | ~₹37,500 to ₹65,600 |
| Bull | $20 to $30 billion | ~$972 to $1,458 | ~₹93,700 to ₹1.4 lakh |
- Bear case: stablecoins win the payments market, interest in Bitcoin forks fades further, and BCH slips down the rankings as many coins from 2017 have done.
- Base case: BCH keeps a loyal user base, the ETF arrives and draws modest money, the 2028 halving trims new supply, and its value roughly doubles with the market.
- Bull case: a strong Bitcoin cycle spills over into older coins, fund demand grows, and new smart-contract features bring real activity, lifting BCH to around four times today's value.
Can BCH reach ₹1 lakh? The market-cap maths
Market cap = price × circulating supply. Using about 20.1 million BCH and ₹96.37 to the dollar on 3 October 2026:
| BCH price (INR) | Rise needed from ~₹30,319 | Market cap today (INR) | Market cap today (USD) | With 2030 supply (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₹50,000 | ~1.6x | ~₹1 lakh crore | ~$10.4 billion | ~$10.7 billion |
| ₹1,00,000 | ~3.3x | ~₹2 lakh crore | ~$20.9 billion | ~$21.3 billion (more than HYPE today) |
| ₹2,00,000 | ~6.6x | ~₹4 lakh crore | ~$41.7 billion | ~$42.7 billion |
| ₹3,00,000 | ~9.9x | ~₹6 lakh crore | ~$62.6 billion | ~$64 billion (a little below Solana today) |
| ₹5,00,000 | ~16.5x | ~₹10 lakh crore | ~$104 billion | ~$107 billion (more than XRP today) |
₹1 lakh per BCH is about $1,038, a level BCH last held in 2021. It needs a market cap of about $21 billion, a little more than three times today's value and at the low end of our bull range. So ₹1 lakh is a stretch target that needs a strong cycle, not an impossible one. Getting back to the 2017 peak of about $3,800 would need about $78 billion, more than Solana is worth today, which none of our scenarios reaches.
The rupee effect
BCH is priced in dollars, so a weaker rupee lifts its rupee price even if nothing else changes. If the rupee slid to about ₹105 to the dollar by 2030, every rupee figure here would be about 9% higher: the base case would become roughly ₹40,800 to ₹71,500. This is an illustration, not a currency forecast; check today's rate on our USD to INR page.
What ₹10,000 and ₹1 lakh in BCH could become
At about ₹30,319 per BCH, ₹10,000 buys about 0.33 BCH and ₹1 lakh buys about 3.3 BCH before fees. Here is what those holdings would be worth at the 2030 point values above:
| 2030 scenario (market cap) | ₹10,000 becomes | After 31.2% tax | ₹1 lakh becomes | After 31.2% tax |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear (₹18,740, $4B) | ₹6,181 | ₹6,181 (loss, no tax) | ₹61,811 | ₹61,811 (loss, no tax) |
| Base (₹51,536, $11B) | ₹16,998 | ₹14,815 | ₹1,69,981 | ₹1,48,147 |
| Bull (₹1,21,813, $26B) | ₹40,177 | ₹30,762 | ₹4,01,773 | ₹3,07,620 |
Tax is 30% plus 4% cess on the gain. A bear-case loss cannot be set off against salary or other crypto gains. You do not need to buy a whole BCH: Indian exchanges let you buy small fractions. Try your own amounts in the Bitcoin Cash investment calculator.
Risks to weigh before buying
- Long decline: BCH has spent almost nine years below its December 2017 peak and is more than 90% under it.
- Mining security: BCH shares Bitcoin's mining algorithm but has far less hash power, so miners can switch between the two chains and a large attacker would need far fewer resources than on Bitcoin.
- Competition: stablecoins, Litecoin and Bitcoin's own payment layers compete for the same use. See Bitcoin Cash vs Litecoin.
- ETF uncertainty: the Grayscale conversion is pending and may not happen soon.
- Rupee and tax: a stronger rupee would cut returns, and the 30% tax with no loss set-off reduces what you keep.

Buying BCH and tax in India
BCH is listed on many exchanges that serve India, usually against INR or USDT. Our guide on how to buy Bitcoin Cash in India covers the steps. Do not confuse BCH with Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcoin SV (BSV): they are different coins, and sending BCH to a BTC address can lose your funds. Crypto is legal in India but not legal tender, and exchanges serving Indians must register with FIU-IND, so check the FIU-registered exchanges list first.
When you sell, gains are taxed at a flat 30% plus 4% cess under the rules introduced as Section 115BBH, with no deduction except what you paid. 1% TDS applies to sales above ₹50,000 a year for specified persons (₹10,000 for others) and counts towards your final tax. Losses cannot be set off or carried forward, and trades go in Schedule VDA of your ITR. Our crypto tax in India guide and crypto tax calculator cover the details.
