Stellar Price Prediction 2030 in INR: Can XLM Reach ₹100?
XLM 2030 scenarios in rupees: about ₹6.70 to ₹134 from market-cap maths, a 2026 to 2030 table, the MoneyGram story and what ₹100 per XLM would need.
Nobody can predict Stellar's price in 2030, but market-cap maths gives a sensible range. On our assumptions XLM could be worth roughly ₹6.70 to ₹13.40 in a bear case, ₹27 to ₹45 in a base case and ₹78 to ₹134 in a bull case, against about ₹20.64 per XLM at 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026. These are scenarios, not predictions. ₹100 per XLM would need Stellar to be worth about $45 billion in 2030, which only our bull case reaches. The live Stellar price in INR is ₹21.03 right now.
Key takeaways
- At 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026 XLM was about $0.2142 (₹20.64), with a market cap near $7.5 billion on about 35 billion XLM in circulation.
- Its all-time high was about $0.88 on 3 January 2018. XLM is still about 75% below that peak.
- No new XLM can be created: inflation ended in October 2019 and about 55 billion XLM were burned in November 2019, leaving a total of about 50 billion.
- Stellar is built for payments. MoneyGram has used it since 2021 and launched its own MGUSD stablecoin on Stellar on 2 June 2026.
- Our 2030 range runs from a $3 billion to a $60 billion market cap. Gains are taxed at 30% plus cess in India, with 1% TDS and no loss set-off.
Where Stellar stands in October 2026
Stellar is an open payments network that launched in 2014. It is run by independent validators and supported by the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), a non-profit. It is designed to move money cheaply between currencies: banks, fintechs and remittance firms issue tokens for dollars and other assets on Stellar, and "anchors" let people move cash in and out. XLM, also called the lumen, pays network fees and acts as a bridge asset. The base fee is 100 stroops, or 0.00001 XLM per operation, a tiny fraction of a paisa at today's price.

Payments and the MoneyGram history
Stellar's case rests on real payment use, and MoneyGram is the best-known example. In October 2021 MoneyGram and the SDF announced a partnership, and within about a month they ran a live pilot in the US: people could pay cash into a digital wallet at a MoneyGram location, send dollars abroad as USDC on Stellar, and collect local cash at the other end. The service was then rolled out more widely from 2022.
The link deepened in 2026. On 2 June 2026 MoneyGram launched MGUSD, its own dollar stablecoin, on Stellar. It is issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, and is aimed at MoneyGram's more than 60 million customers and nearly 500,000 retail locations, starting in the US. Other financial firms use Stellar too:
- PayPal USD: PayPal's PYUSD stablecoin became available on Stellar on 18 September 2025.
- Franklin Templeton: its US government money fund (FOBXX, with BENJI tokens) launched in April 2021 as the first US-registered mutual fund to use a public blockchain, Stellar, to record share ownership.
- Smart contracts: Soroban, Stellar's smart contract platform, went live on 20 February 2024, and Protocol 25 ("X-Ray"), voted in on 22 January 2026, added zero-knowledge cryptography tools for optional privacy.
One catch for XLM holders: stablecoin payments on Stellar need only tiny amounts of XLM for fees. More payments help the network, but they do not automatically create large demand for the coin itself. Our guide to what a stablecoin is explains the tokens that most of this activity uses.
XLM supply: the 2019 burn and the SDF's holdings
Stellar once added 1% new XLM every year. Validators voted to end that inflation on 28 October 2019, and on 4 November 2019 the SDF burned about 55 billion XLM, cutting the total from about 105 billion to about 50 billion. Since then the total has been fixed.
The gap between the 50 billion total and the 35 billion in circulation is mostly XLM still held by the SDF, which it releases over time for grants, partnerships and its own operations. Circulating supply has risen from about 28.5 billion XLM in early 2024 to about 35 billion now, roughly 2 to 3 billion a year. We assume a slightly slower pace and about 43 billion XLM circulating at the end of 2030. If all 50 billion were circulating, every price below would need a market cap about 16% higher.
How we build the 2030 scenarios
We use the same method as our Bitcoin price prediction 2030 in INR and Cardano price prediction 2030 in INR: choose a plausible total value for the network, divide it by the expected supply, and convert to rupees.
- Supply: about 43 billion XLM at the end of 2030, up from 35 billion today.
- Exchange rate: ₹96.37 to the dollar, the rate at 15:52 UTC on 3 October 2026.
- Market cap: the real guess. Each scenario says what would have to happen for Stellar to be worth that much.
Worked example: a $16 billion market cap divided by 43 billion XLM gives about $0.372 per XLM, or about ₹35.90 at ₹96.37 to the dollar.
Stellar price prediction 2026 to 2030 in INR
Each cell gives the XLM price in rupees at the end of the year and, in brackets, the market cap that price implies. These are scenario paths, not forecasts.
| Year end | XLM supply (assumed) | Bear case | Base case | Bull case |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | 35.4 billion | ₹16.30 ($6B) | ₹21.80 ($8B) | ₹27.20 ($10B) |
| 2027 | 37.4 billion | ₹10.30 ($4B) | ₹24.50 ($9.5B) | ₹46.40 ($18B) |
| 2028 | 39.4 billion | ₹11.00 ($4.5B) | ₹29.40 ($12B) | ₹68.50 ($28B) |
| 2029 | 41.2 billion | ₹11.70 ($5B) | ₹32.70 ($14B) | ₹88.90 ($38B) |
| 2030 | 43 billion | ₹11.20 ($5B) | ₹35.90 ($16B) | ₹108 ($48B) |
The bear path falls in 2027 because crypto has often had a weak year after a strong run, as in 2018 and 2022. The base path roughly doubles Stellar's value by 2030, but the price rises less because the SDF keeps releasing XLM. The bull path makes Stellar worth about half of XRP's value today and crosses ₹100 per XLM in 2030.
Stellar price prediction 2030: three scenarios
| Scenario | Market cap in 2030 | XLM price (USD) | XLM price (INR at ₹96.37) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | $3 to $6 billion | ~$0.070 to $0.140 | ~₹6.70 to ₹13.40 |
| Base | $12 to $20 billion | ~$0.279 to $0.465 | ~₹27 to ₹45 |
| Bull | $35 to $60 billion | ~$0.81 to $1.40 | ~₹78 to ₹134 |
- Bear case: payment firms favour other chains or private bank networks, stablecoin use on Stellar grows slowly, and XLM loses ground to newer coins while the SDF keeps releasing supply.
- Base case: MGUSD, PYUSD and tokenised funds bring steady activity, Stellar holds its place among payment networks, and XLM rises with the wider market to about twice today's value.
- Bull case: stablecoin remittances become mainstream, Stellar wins large banking and fintech partners, and a strong cycle lifts XLM back near or above its 2018 peak.
Can XLM reach ₹100? The market-cap maths
Market cap = price × circulating supply. Using about 35 billion XLM and ₹96.37 to the dollar on 3 October 2026:
| XLM price (INR) | Rise needed from ~₹20.64 | Market cap today (INR) | Market cap today (USD) | With 2030 supply (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₹30 | ~1.5x | ~₹1.1 lakh crore | ~$10.9 billion | ~$13.4 billion (a little below Dogecoin today) |
| ₹50 | ~2.4x | ~₹1.8 lakh crore | ~$18.2 billion | ~$22.3 billion |
| ₹100 | ~4.8x | ~₹3.5 lakh crore | ~$36.3 billion | ~$44.6 billion |
| ₹200 | ~9.7x | ~₹7 lakh crore | ~$72.7 billion | ~$89.2 billion (about XRP today) |
| ₹500 | ~24x | ~₹17.5 lakh crore | ~$182 billion | ~$223 billion |
₹100 per XLM is about $1.04, above the 2018 peak of about $0.88. With 2030's supply it needs a market cap of about $45 billion, roughly six times Stellar's value today and inside our bull range of $35 billion to $60 billion. So ₹100 is a stretch target that needs both a strong market and much more payment use, not an impossible one. ₹500 per XLM would need Stellar to be worth more than twice XRP today, which is out of reach on any sensible view.
Even getting back to the old high is harder than the chart suggests. With 43 billion XLM in 2030, $0.88 per coin means about $37.8 billion, five times today's value.
The rupee effect
XLM is priced in dollars, so a weaker rupee lifts its rupee price even if nothing else changes. If the rupee slid to about ₹105 to the dollar by 2030, every rupee figure here would be about 9% higher: the base case would become roughly ₹29 to ₹49. This is an illustration, not a currency forecast; check today's rate on our USD to INR page.
What ₹10,000 and ₹1 lakh in XLM could become
At about ₹20.64 per XLM, ₹10,000 buys about 484 XLM and ₹1 lakh buys about 4,844 XLM before fees. Here is what those holdings would be worth at the 2030 point values above:
| 2030 scenario (market cap) | ₹10,000 becomes | After 31.2% tax | ₹1 lakh becomes | After 31.2% tax |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear (₹11.20, $5B) | ₹5,429 | ₹5,429 (loss, no tax) | ₹54,285 | ₹54,285 (loss, no tax) |
| Base (₹35.90, $16B) | ₹17,371 | ₹15,071 | ₹1,73,713 | ₹1,50,714 |
| Bull (₹108, $48B) | ₹52,114 | ₹38,974 | ₹5,21,139 | ₹3,89,743 |
Tax is 30% plus 4% cess on the gain. A bear-case loss cannot be set off against salary or other crypto gains. Try your own amounts in the Stellar investment calculator.
What would push XLM up or down
- Stablecoin growth: MGUSD and PYUSD could bring millions of users to Stellar wallets. Watch whether volumes grow after the US launch.
- Fund demand: a futures-based Stellar ETF (STLR) from Volatility Shares began trading in the US on 1 April 2026. It holds XLM futures, not XLM itself, so a spot fund would matter more.
- SDF releases: about 15 billion XLM sit outside circulation, mostly with the SDF. Faster releases would weigh on the price.
- The wider market: XLM usually moves with Bitcoin and tends to fall further in downturns. Track the leader on our Bitcoin price in INR page.
Risks to weigh before buying
- Long drawdown: XLM has spent more than eight years below its January 2018 high and still trades about 75% under it.
- Usage does not equal demand: payments can grow strongly while XLM, needed only for tiny fees, barely benefits.
- Competition: XRP, Solana, Ethereum's layer-2 networks and bank-run systems all chase the same payment business.
- Rupee and tax: a stronger rupee would cut returns, and the 30% tax with no loss set-off reduces what you keep.

Buying XLM and tax in India
XLM is widely listed on exchanges that serve India, usually against INR or USDT. Our guide on how to buy Stellar in India covers the steps. Crypto is legal in India but not legal tender, and exchanges serving Indians must register with FIU-IND, so check the FIU-registered exchanges list first. When you withdraw XLM to a wallet or another exchange, include the memo if the receiving platform asks for one, or the coins may not be credited.
When you sell, gains are taxed at a flat 30% plus 4% cess under the rules introduced as Section 115BBH, with no deduction except what you paid. 1% TDS applies to sales above ₹50,000 a year for specified persons (₹10,000 for others) and counts towards your final tax. Losses cannot be set off or carried forward, and trades go in Schedule VDA of your ITR. Our crypto tax in India guide and crypto tax calculator cover the details.
