Leverage works both ways. At 10x, a 10% move against you wipes out your margin; at 20x, a 5% move does. Crypto moves 5% in a day often. Most retail futures traders lose money, and losses come faster than on spot.
With INR-margined futures your margin, profit and loss are in rupees, so there is no USDT conversion or its spread. USDT-margined contracts usually cover more coins but require you to buy USDT first. CoinSwitch also offers INR futures and options; Binance lists USDT futures, but check whether they are available to Indian accounts in the app.
